How to register with IMRO.

Register with IMRO (Irish Music Rights Organisation) to collect performance royalties on your compositions whenever they are played, broadcast, or streamed in Ireland and internationally through reciprocal agreements.

Apply at imro.ie. Writer membership is free. IMRO represents songwriters, composers, and publishers for the public performance and broadcast of their works.

You will need: government-issued photo ID, bank details, and at least one of your works.

IMRO collects from Irish broadcasters, venues, and streaming services and distributes internationally — free membership with broad reach.

Common mistake

Assuming IMRO also collects mechanicals. Those are handled by MCPSI (administered alongside IMRO) — confirm both are set up.
