How TIDAL pays royalties.

TIDAL pays through the standard pro-rata streaming model. Its earlier "Direct Artist Payouts" program — which routed up to 10% of a HiFi Plus subscriber's fee directly to their most-streamed artist — was discontinued, with that funding redirected to the TIDAL RISING emerging-artist programme instead.

Payment model: Pro-rata (the fan-centred Direct Artist Payouts programme was discontinued).
Estimated rate: Estimated per-stream rate varies by report; treat any figure as directional rather than current, given the payment model has changed.

How to collect it

Master royalties: paid via your distributor.
Mechanical and performance royalties: register separately, same requirement as any streaming platform.
